SAT® 2026-05-06T14:25:37+00:00

TreeHouse International School offers both SAT preparatory courses and testing opportunities being an official SAT testing centre. The exam measures the skills and knowledge that students learn in school and that important for college and career readiness. As written in the College Board website, for nearly a century, the SAT has been used successfully worldwide, in combination with factors such as high school grade point average (HSGPA), to assess student readiness for and to predict student success in postsecondary education.

The SAT is a digital standardized entrance exam both owned and administered by the College Board. The exam is composed of two sections: (1) the Reading and Writing section, and (2) the Math section. Examinees have 64 minutes to complete the Reading & Writing section and 70 minutes to complete the Math section, for a total of 2 hours and 14 minutes.

The following table retrieved from  College Board  shows how much time examinees get for each section and the number of questions for each section:

Component Time Allotted (minutes) Number of Questions/Tasks
Reading and Writing 64 (two 32-minute modules) 54
Math 70 (two 35-minute modules) 44
Total 134 98
